Nami Namaste

“Namaste” is a Sanskrit word and it means, among other things, welcome to my heart. And that is how I want to welcome my guests to my Namaste.

Namaste is an old fisherman’s cottage on the islands’ southern shore dating back to the 18th century. What once was a bay is now a meadow. Old stone fences surround the main buildings. In the sitting room in front of a cozy fireplace life seems to take a different pace. All worries feel distant. And that is how it should be!

The Annex – two cozy rooms for two persons each with toilet and shower in the corridor. These rooms are in the same building as the workshop kitchen dining room with the fireplace.

The former blacksmith’s hut in one end of the yard is now an authentic Finnish sauna. And on the opposite side there is another loghouse with two guest rooms.

The old earth cellar is turned into a small basic wine cellar and behind this one is our genuine pizza oven. Thin crispy pizzas come out of this hot wonder.

Two small cottages are located on the further side of the meadow. Old fashioned washing facilities al fresco. There you can dream the sweetest of dreams!

A big bath barrel, an old fashioned hot tub is located in the shelter of apple trees. It is big enough to fit 8 persons. Enjoy it with a glass of champagne while gazing at the stars above.

Our own herb garden provides us with deliciously fresh ingredients. Vegetables and edible roots have their own beds – this a perfect place to just relax and enjoy.
